Before starting the machine, follow these key steps to ensure safe and effective operation:
1. Inspect and secure fastening bolts
- Inspect all fastening bolts, especially the rotor bolts, to ensure they are securely fastened.
- Note: The rotor bolts have left-hand threads, meaning they are tightened counterclockwise.
2. Adjust the stator-rotor gap
- Rotate the locking rod counterclockwise to loosen it.
- Rotate the adjustment ring counterclockwise by at least 90 degrees to increase the gap between the stator and rotor. This prevents friction and overheating during startup.
3. Verify rotor movement
- Manually rotate the rotor using the provided specialized wrench.
- If the rotor is stuck or difficult to move, do not start the machine—investigate and resolve the issue first.
4. Conduct a test run (slightly move the switch)
- Check the rotor’s rotation direction—it must align with the clockwise arrow indicator on the machine (observed from above).(Warning: Incorrect rotation direction may cause rotor bolt loosening, equipment failure, or internal component damage.)
- Pay attention to abnormal noise or vibration during testing. If abnormalities are detected, immediately shut down the machine and check for misalignment or loose components.
5. Set up the cooling water circulation
- Connect the inlet and outlet hoses according to the markings on the machine.
- Use plastic hoses to supply cooling water to prevent corrosion.
Important note: Reversing the inlet and outlet hoses will reduce cooling efficiency, causing overheating and potentially damaging the motor.
